EASY EYE SOUND THROWS THE BEST AMERICANAFEST EVENT OF 2022

On the afternoon of Thursday, September 15th Easy Eye Sound hosted the First Annual East Nashville Community Fish Fry at American Legion Post 82 with the help of their friends at Luck Presents and Spotify. The unforgettable event was filled with surprise performances, most notably from Hank Williams, Jr. and The Black Keys.

Early James kicked off the inside stage around 2:30 PM singing tracks from both of his Easy Eye Sound projects, Singing For My Supper, and his latest release, Strange Time To Be Alive. Guests began to trickle in as the lineup of the day began to slowly revealed itself including performances by Robert Finley, Brit Taylor, Jon Muq, Nat Myers, and more.

Friend of Easy Eye Sound, Nikki Lane, took the stage around 5:00 PM to debut tracks off her brand new album, Denim & Diamonds, as well as her own rendition of the country classic, “Fishin’ In The Dark” by Nitty Gritty Dirt Band.

For the finale, Hank Williams, Jr. and Dan Auerbach shared the stage with Kenny Brown, Eric Deaton, and Kinney Kimbrough to play favorites from Rich White Honky Blues including “Georgia Women” and “Fireman Ring The Bell” to a room full of fans at East Nashville’s American Legion Post 82. The Black Keys capped off the special evening with songs from their Grammy-nominated 2021 record, Delta Kream.
