| From old masters to brilliant youngbloods, acoustic blues to roiling blues-rock, Tell Everybody!: 21st Century Juke Joint Blues From Easy Eye Sound is a fully realized survey of the blues tradition.The upcoming album features a wide-ranging collection of voices from North Mississippi’s GRAMMY nominated R.L. Boyce, Korean-American Kentucky native Nat Myers, Bentonian blues legend Jimmy “Duck” Holmes, and more. The project is compiled and produced by Dan Auerbach, who is also featured as an artist on two never-heard-before recordings including the solo track “Every Chance I Get (I Want You In The Flesh)” and The Black Keys‘ “No Lovin'”.
The title track “Tell Everybody” is a surging welcome to the blues party, highlighting Louisiana singer-songwriter-guitarist Robert Finley backed by Hill Country blues legends Kenny Brown (guitar), Eric Deaton (bass), Kinney Kimbrough (drums), plus Dan Auerbach (guitar).
